This foundation is spreading the word to break the hold on the stigma of mental illness. Mental illness needs to be spoken about and destigmatized!!! \nThis event will be taken place on Sunday\, August 19th\, 2018. We will all meet in the Jefferson Valley mall parking lot. I will be there starting at 430pm. The cruise will start to head out at 630pm. We will be going over Bear Mountain to see the sunset (hopefully the sky will be purple!) and then into Cold Spring. To educate\, advocate & develop an action plan to promote mental health & raise awareness about depression & its effects on our schools & communities. Through open dialogue & communication\, we hope to reduce the stigma of mental illness.\n\nFunds raised from this event will be used to provide resources and educational programming on mental wellness to high school youth and parents in our communities and to establish a scholarship in Brian’s honor to a graduating student from Pleasantville High School that demonstrates a commitment\, passion\, & volunteerism for mental health advocacy.
