DESCRIPTION:1st Annual “Into the Light” WALK \nCheck-in for the walk will be at the Pleasantville High School Cafeteria at 4:00 A.M. \nSunrise Walk Details: \n\nWalk begins at 4:30 A.M. at Pleasantville High School (rain or shine)\nApproximately 2.5 miles\nAll participants will receive a t-shirt\nWalk concludes at Pleasantville High School Cafeteria approximately 6:30 A.M.\nLight breakfast will be served\n\nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER NOW \n\nAbout the BTH Foundation:  It was established by the Halloran Family in honor of their late son\, Brian Thomas Halloran\, who passed on January 23\, 2018. BTH stands for Brian’s initials\, but also for “Break the Hold” on mental illness. The mission of the foundation is to promote youth wellness. To educate\, advocate & develop an action plan to promote mental health & raise awareness about depression & its effects on our schools & communities. Through open dialogue & communication\, we hope to reduce the stigma of mental illness.\n\nFunds raised from this event will be used to provide resources and educational programming on mental wellness to high school youth and parents in our communities and to establish a scholarship in Brian’s honor to a graduating student from Pleasantville High School that demonstrates a commitment\, passion\, & volunteerism for mental health advocacy.
